Thus, environmentally harmful biocides can be substituted in silicones in the future. All Mundex formulations for silicones are almost completely biodegradable and based on naturally renewable raw materials. Silicones treated with Mundex are ideally suited for use in sanitary facilities, swimming pools, saunas and wellness areas, for example. In addition, biocides in building and window silicones can simply be replaced by Mundex.
